A kit of the Toyota Corolla Levin AE92 in 1:24 scale, in the racing form designated Fet Toms.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Corolla Levin AE92 is the sporting version of the Corolla from the end of the 1980s, a compact front-wheel-drive coupe with the angular body typical of Japanese cars of the period. Alongside the production examples it also appeared in circuit-racing colors, and it is exactly such a form that this model carries: the car is rendered in the version designated Fet Toms.
The model in 1:24 scale is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Which parts, decals and equipment variants the package holds are given in the manufacturer's instructions; go through them before you reach for the paints, because with cars in racing colors the order of work differs from that of an ordinary road version.
A colorful racing scheme is built up in layers. First free the body of surplus material and of the marks left by manufacture, and sand it smooth. Spray a white base under the light and rich shades, otherwise the color will darken and come out uneven. Apply the color in thin coats and let it cure. Lay the decals only onto a smooth gloss surface, or their edges will turn white; once dry, go over them with varnish so that they can no longer be felt. Glue the clear parts with an adhesive intended for clear plastic, as cyanoacrylate can cloud them. Leave the wheels, mirrors and other small items until the end.
It will please collectors of Japanese cars in 1:24 scale and modelers who are fond of circuit specials and want a whole family of one generation of a car on the shelf. Paints, varnishes, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
