Montex 1:24 Hawker Typhoon Mk.IB with the car-door cockpit is a set of glazing masks for a kit you already own. The model and its parts are not part of it.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set is cut for the early cockpit with side doors, which on this type is known as the car door. The masks are stuck straight onto the clear parts of the kit and make sure the frames take the color of the airframe while the windows stay transparent. It is not a model — it is an accessory for a large-scale kit you already own.
The Hawker Typhoon Mk.IB was a British single-engine fighter-bomber with a powerful Napier Sabre engine and heavy armament in the wing. Early production machines had a cockpit with car-type side doors and a framed rear canopy, which worsened the view to the rear; later examples received a sliding bubble canopy. The type was used above all for attacks on ground targets.
The 1:24 scale offers large parts, but at the same time it forgives no carelessness. Wash the clear parts, degrease them and let them dry, or a mask will lift at the edge. Transfer large templates onto the part from the center toward the edges so that they do not crease. Before the camouflage, spray the edges with the interior color and only then apply the covering coats. On large areas, spray at lower pressure and from a greater distance — that reduces both graininess and the risk of creep.
The package holds masking templates only. The model, paints and glue are not included.
