An injection-molded plastic kit of the classic Japanese Honda S600 sports car in 1:24 scale from the renowned maker Tamiya. The set contains plastic and rubber parts, decals and instructions for building and painting. The parts make it possible to build the car as an open roadster with the roof folded down or with a fixed roof. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Honda S600 is a small sports car of the mid-1960s. It was powered by a high-revving DOHC four-cylinder engine of 606 cc with carburetors, which took the power to the rear wheels. The car was offered as a roadster as well as a coupe and made its name for its engineering and its temperament alike.
The detailed DOHC engine with its four carburetors and exhaust manifold deserves careful painting in metallic shades and washes to pick it out. Paint the body to a gloss over a primer. Use thin plastic cement and consider whether to build the model open or closed.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
