This plastic kit in 1:24 scale captures the iconic wedge-shaped Lancia Stratos HF. The model faithfully carries over the characteristic body designed by the Bertone studio and the overall proportions of one of the most successful competition cars in history. Decals for a period version of the car are included.
The Lancia Stratos HF was the first car designed from the ground up specifically for rallying. A V6 engine from the Ferrari Dino sat in the middle of the car and gave the compact body excellent agility. The Stratos won the World Rally Championship title three years in a row in the mid-1970s and became a motorsport legend.
The body benefits from a smooth gloss finish laid on with an airbrush and sealed with a clear coat. The competition decals settle better on a gloss surface with a decal softener. Fine washes and dry painting of the small details bring the interior and the chassis to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
