The Nissan Laurel is a Japanese upper mid-size passenger car. From the name follow the hardtop form, a two-liter class engine and the SGX trim level. With a hardtop body the fixed frames to the side windows are missing, so with the glass down the side of the car looks low and continuous.
It is a plastic kit in 1:24 scale, which you build and paint yourself. Exactly what is in the box and which versions can be built are given in the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer. At this scale the body of a passenger car works out at roughly twenty centimeters in length.
Cut the parts off a little away from the edge and sand the remainder, so that the glued surfaces seat without a gap. Glue the clear parts with a glue that will not cloud them, and fit them only after the body has been painted. Wash and degrease the surface before painting and apply a base coat; only on that will you see whether the areas are really smooth. Choose thin coats of paint, so that the gaps of the doors and the hood stay apparent.
The set is for modelers with an interest in Japanese automotive subjects and for building road scenery in 1:24 scale. Paints, thinner, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
