It covers the Lamborghini Huracán supercar in the LB Works conversion, that is with a widened body, pronounced fender flares and the parts of an aerodynamic kit. The designation version 1 sets this set apart from a further guise of the same conversion, which is issued separately. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, with decals and instructions.
The Lamborghini Huracán is a two-seat supercar with a naturally aspirated V10 mounted ahead of the rear axle and an aluminum and composite structure. The sharply cut shapes of the body with their pronounced edges and hexagonal motifs are typical of the marque. LB Works conversions belong to a style that adds wide fender flares riveted to the original body, lowered suspension, a large wheel with a deep lip and often a prominent rear wing. The result is a low and extremely wide silhouette, which makes a model a striking piece in a display case.
Fit the widened fender flares dry and check how they line up with the body — this is exactly where care decides the final impression. Treat the body with primer before painting, spray the gloss paint with an airbrush in thin coats and polish it out once dry if need be. Pick out the rivets of the flares with a metallic shade applied with a fine brush. Finish the chassis and the interior separately and join them to the body at the end. Mask the clear parts and glue them with canopy glue. On wide conversions the wheels sit correctly only at the right offset — before the final gluing, check that the model stands on all four wheels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
