The name is simply Fairlady Z, without the addition of a generation or a model year that the manufacturer's other packages usually carry. Fairlady Z is the Japanese name for the Nissan series of sports coupes, which on export markets was sold under the designations Datsun 240Z and later Nissan 300ZX. The features common to the generations are a long hood, the silhouette of a coupe with a short rear overhang, an inline or V6 engine mounted longitudinally at the front and rear-wheel drive. It was precisely the combination of a classic layout and the car's favorable purchase price that made the Z one of the most successful Japanese sports cars of all and a fixture in modeling ranges.

Leave the wheels and tires matte; the contrast with a glossy body accounts for most of the final impression on cars in 1:24.
