An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary Japanese Nissan Skyline GT-R sports car in the V-Spec version, in 1:24 scale, from the Tamiya car line. The package contains color-separated sprues including chrome-plated parts, clear parts, rubber tires with a tread pattern and a decal sheet for badges and license plates. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Skyline GT-R became famous for its turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, its sophisticated all-wheel drive and its rear-wheel steering, which made it an icon of the Japanese sports scene and of motorsport. The V-Spec version brought a firmer chassis setup and further changes aimed at handling. The model faithfully captures the detail of the chassis, the multi-link suspension and a well worked-out interior.
Treat the body with a primer and spray it with an airbrush in thin coats; a final gloss clear coat will give the paint depth. Keep the chrome-plated parts clear of smeared glue. Glue the glazing with cement for clear plastics. The interior and the chassis can be handled with a combination of airbrush and brush, and the fine badges are completed by the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
