An injection-molded plastic kit of the Porsche 911 GT3 sports car in 1:24 scale from the Japanese maker Tamiya. The box holds plastic parts, rubber tires, a decal sheet and assembly instructions. The kit captures the shapes and proportions of the sporting 911 faithfully and is meant to be glued and painted.
The Porsche 911 GT3 is the high-performance, track-focused version of the legendary 911 line. It carries on the tradition of the model with a water-cooled flat-six mounted at the rear. It is marked by a fixed rear wing, sport side skirts, brakes with prominent calipers and lightweight wheels. The GT3 offered fierce acceleration and high speed while staying usable every day, which made it one of the best-liked models of the brand among keen drivers.
The body is best sprayed with an airbrush after a primer coat, for a deep shine. Assemble the multi-part rear wing carefully so that it lines up. Glue the glazing and the headlights with a glue for clear parts. A gloss clear coat gives the final look and the decals sit down on it well. Bring the interior out with different shades on the seats and the dashboard.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
