The seating of the body above the wheel is the main theme with low-built cars. Rubber with a drawn-out side, tilted wheels and the smallest possible gap above the tire together make up a look to which whole builds are devoted in modeling practice. This set supplies two of the three parts needed; the third, that is the height of the axle seating, the builder has to see to himself.
The mesh pattern of the eighteen-inch disc stays here as well, only now it is framed by a low profile of tire. The rubber does not rise above the edge of the disc by more than a thin strip, so the mesh becomes the dominant feature of the whole side of the car. From a practical point of view that means the plane of the wheel has to be exact; every slight turn of the disc in relation to the arch will show at first glance with so narrow a side.
It is sensible to start from the axle: first find out how far the wheel will go into the arch, and only then choose the height and any tilt. Painting the disc separately from the rubber follows, because once assembled you will not get into the crevices. The package is intended for one car and contains four finished wheels. The rear pair will bear noticeably more play than the front, because it does not have to steer and only its vertical position is watched.
