An injection-molded plastic kit of the road version of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI sports car in 1:24 scale from the Tamiya car line. The package contains color-separated sprues, clear and tinted parts for the lights, tires with a tread pattern and a decal sheet. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Impreza WRX STI is the sharp road version of the successful Subaru rally car, powered by a turbocharged flat-four boxer engine and symmetrical all-wheel drive. Its widened fenders, the large roof air scoop and the prominent rear wing are characteristic. The real car became an icon of the rally era around the turn of the millennium and a favorite among fans of the brand.
Treat the body with a primer and spray it with an airbrush in thin coats; blue with a gloss clear coat suits the real car best. The headlights and tail lights come out well with the clear tinted parts and a silver undercoat. Glue the glazing with cement for clear plastics and finish the interior and the chassis with a brush and washes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
