Že jsou pásy leptané z oceli. Proti měkčí mosazi drží ocel vytvarování, takže popruh zůstane v poloze, do které ho ohnete.

Pokud jsou díly předlakované z výroby, barvit se nemají a nemají se ani brousit. Holý kov by bylo nutné odmastit a nastříkat podkladem.

Tvarujte postupně přes zaoblený předmět a doladěte pinzetou. Ohýbejte plynule, ne zlomem, jinak popruh vypadá jako plech.
