The instrument panel of the Spitfire Mk.VIII in 1:24, the LööK range is an Eduard accessory for modelers building the large British fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
In the 1:24 format the instrument panel becomes an exhibit in its own right. The LööK range therefore offers a finished, color-rendered part that takes the place of the plastic panel from the kit and saves you hours of work with the thinnest brush you own. This is an accessory; the aircraft and its other parts are not in the package.
The Mk.VIII came about as a considered, fully productionized answer to the stopgap solution of the previous version. It received a two-stage supercharged engine, a strengthened structure and a retractable tailwheel and, above all, a larger fuel capacity, which made it a welcome machine wherever flying took place far from base. It fought over the Mediterranean, over Burma and in the Pacific area, and a number of machines were given clipped wingtips for better agility down low. That is exactly why the Mk.VIII appears in a varied range of finishes, from desert tones to dark green.
The original plastic panel usually has to be thinned or removed altogether, so that the new one seats into the frame without pressure. Try it dry until the part sits down of its own accord. For gluing, a small drop of super glue with little penetration suits, or a glue for transparent parts that leaves no fogging.
The exact contents of the package are not determined by the name, so they are not stated here.
