The racing Taisan STP GT-R (Skyline GT-R BNR32 Gr.A) 1992 in 1:24 scale captures one of the most boldly marked Japanese touring cars.
Responsibility details are not available.
A model of the circuit Skyline GT-R with the BNR32 body in the form the car lined up in during 1992 under the banner of the Taisan team and its main partner. The 1:24 reduction is the standard for racing automobiles, so the finished piece goes well with other cars of the same era.
The turn of the 1980s and 1990s on the Japanese circuits belonged to cars derived from series production. The Skyline GT-R, with drive to both axles and a turbocharged inline six, dominated this segment so thoroughly that people speak of it as the era of a single type. Private teams such as Taisan played a key role in that: they filled the grid and supplied the variety of color schemes by which a modeler today tells them apart at a glance.
On a car with dense markings patience proves itself. First level the body with filler primer, apply an even coat of paint and let it mature for at least a day. Then settle the decals one at a time and help them with decal softener, so that they follow the pressed detail. A sealing gloss layer hides their edges and unifies the surface.
The model is unassembled and without surface finish; obtain the chemicals for gluing and painting separately.
