Eduard 1:24 Typhoon Mk.Ib (Car Door) landing flaps is a photo-etched set of landing flaps for the large Hawker Typhoon model. It is an accessory, not a kit.

A photo-etched set of landing flaps in 1:24 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. The set makes it possible to show the flaps in the lowered position with the fine structure of ribs and sheets that plastic parts cannot capture even in a large scale. It is not an aircraft model but a separate detailing accessory.
The Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib was a British single-engine fighter and attack aircraft of the Second World War; the Car Door version had side doors on the cabin resembling those of a car. The set is aimed at the flap mechanism of its wing and gives it a realistic, fine appearance.
Cut the parts out with a sharp knife, make the bends over a ruler and shape the thin sheet carefully so that it does not buckle. You attach photo-etch with super glue; lowered flaps look best if you keep to the real angle of extension.
The accessory is supplied as a set of photo-etched parts. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
