This is NOT a model of a car but an add-on wheel set in 1:24 scale from the range of tuning parts of the Japanese company Aoshima. It makes it possible to swap the factory wheels on a plastic kit of a passenger car for large nineteen-inch wheels in the VIP style, popular on the Japanese tuning scene with limousines and coupes.
The set typically contains four plastic wheels, four rubber low-profile tires, poly caps for fitting and a sheet of decals. The wheels are multi-part with a chromed rim, which gives them a real sense of depth. The mounting is designed for the usual Japanese car kits in 1:24 scale, and on some models a small change to the axle comes in handy.
The wheels tend to be chromed already, and the matte tires can be brought out with light roughening and a faint dusty shade. The center of the wheel and the valves stand out after careful accentuation with a dark color. Apply the decals onto a degreased surface and seal them with a clear coat compatible with the base.
The set contains only the wheels and tires, not a whole model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
