The model captures the clean shape of the body faithfully and offers a multi-part treatment with a detailed engine, a complete exhaust, a worked-up chassis and a broken-up interior. According to the manufacturer's catalog decals for a period form of the car belong with it.
The Volkswagen Corrado was a sports coupe produced from the end of the 1980s, built on the mechanicals of the Golf. The best-known version is the G60 with a supercharged 1.8 liter gasoline four-cylinder, made famous by the mechanically driven G-Lader supercharger. The Corrado offered brisk handling and, as the brand's first genuinely sporting model, won a firm place among Volkswagen enthusiasts.
Use a thin cement for plastic and build in subassemblies. Finish and paint the engine and the interior before closing the body up. Spray the body with an airbrush over primer, and for a civilian gloss finish consider a final clear coat with polishing. Glue the chrome parts and the glazing with a cement for clear plastic so that they do not go dull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
