An injection-molded plastic kit of the competition car Volkswagen Polo R WRC in 1:24 scale from the Belgian manufacturer Belkits, a specialist in rally models. The set is among the most detailed rally kits and usually contains photo-etched parts, masking templates, fabric seat belts, metal parts, decals and parts for the night form. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Volkswagen Polo R WRC was an exceptionally successful car of the World Rally Championship built to the World Rally Car regulations. It dominated the WRC series and took a number of victories and titles. The car combines a turbocharged engine, all-wheel drive and the aggressive aerodynamics of a competition car.
The rich decal liveries and the masking templates call for patience, but the result will stand out. Glue the photo-etched parts with super glue and paint the body to a gloss under the decals. The interior with the roll cage, the seats and the fabric belts deserves careful painting. An innovative solution for gluing the glazing reduces the risk of fogging the parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
