Dipping ink 60 ml - Grey Mist Dip is a gray dipping ink from Green Stuff World. It mutes a busy surface and at the same time gives it a shadow in the recesses.
Responsibility details are not available.
A dipping ink from the Green Stuff World brand in a 60 ml package. The gray shade is the neutral choice in this group: it adds no color character to a surface, it only mutes and deepens it. It is applied over an area, in a generous dose over the whole part.
A busy figure with ten different shades often looks fragmented - every area lives its own life and the whole falls apart. A gray dipping ink goes over all the areas alike, so it shifts them in a common direction and softens their mutual differences. At the same time it does what is typical of this kind of product: it runs down off the raised places, gathers in the recesses and creates a shadow there. You therefore get two things at once - a unified whole and deeper relief - and in a single pass over the whole part. A wash would deal only with the second of those, and then only in the places you carried it to yourself.
For modelers who want to calm a result down and give it a common tone, and for anyone who prefers a neutral shadow with no color shift.
Keep out of the reach of children, work in a ventilated area and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
