Dipping ink 60 ml - Skull Linen Dip is a dipping ink from Green Stuff World in a light bone shade. On light areas it draws out the shadow most clearly.
Responsibility details are not available.
A dipping ink from Green Stuff World in a 60 ml package. The name refers to bone and unbleached linen, so the shade is aimed at skulls, bones, ropes, canvas and other light materials. It is applied generously over the whole part and the shadow settles where the surface is deepest.
Light areas have one drawback: without a shadow they merge and the relief on them disappears. At the same time, though, this is the surface on which dipping shows most strongly - every groove in which the ink gathers sets itself apart from its surroundings at once. A skeleton, ropes or coarse cloth therefore gain a legible texture after a single pass, one that would not be noticeable on a dark base. The difference from a wash stays the same: a wash is placed deliberately into a chosen line, while a dipping ink goes over the whole area and the shape decides where the shadow goes.
For figure painters working with undead subjects and for modelers who need to give texture to light materials. It will find use on diorama accessories of light material as well.
Keep out of the reach of children, work in a ventilated area and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
