The Su-25, known under the NATO reporting name Frogfoot, is a Soviet attack aircraft built to support ground forces from low altitude. Its armament, carried under the wings, matches that role. It is the pylons that hold the bombs, the rocket pods and the auxiliary fuel tanks, so on a model they decide how the whole underside of the wing looks. The name of the set gives the early form, which differs from the later batches in detail.
The set replaces the underwing pylons from a plastic kit in 1:48 with separate parts with crisper shapes and finer edges than can be expected from injection-molded plastic. The manufacturer gives the definition of the contents of the package, the recommended positions on the wing and further details in the enclosed instructions; go by them when arranging the parts as well.
The set suits modelers who are building the Su-25 in 1:48 and want to take the underside of the wing to a state that stands up to a close look. It is an accessory for a model, so obtain the kit itself separately. Armament, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
