PURE MAGENTA - INK is a modeling ink from the Spanish brand AK interactive from The Inks range. The name of the shade is given exactly as the manufacturer established it, without translation.
In modeling, inks are not used as a covering base paint. They are toning agents: they are applied over an already painted surface and shift its coloring without covering it. If you expect an ink to repaint bare plastic by itself, you will be disappointed. But if you use it to fine-tune a base that is already finished, you get a depth that an ordinary paint achieves only laboriously.
Work in thin coats and let each one dry, otherwise the tone builds up uncontrollably. Mix the bottle before use. Choose the thinner and the cleaner according to the manufacturer's recommendations for this range, as trying a random thinner out does not pay off on a part-built model. Try the procedure out on an offcut of plastic first, so that you know how strongly the ink takes.
For figure painters, wargaming modelers and everyone who wants to fine-tune a finished coat into depth. A beginner who is still looking for a base paint for a model will be better served by an ordinary covering paint.
Store well closed and out of the reach of children. Work in a well ventilated room.
