FIRE ORANGE - INK is a modeling ink from the Spanish brand AK interactive, from The Inks range. The name of the shade is used exactly in the form the manufacturer gave it, without translation.
An ink does not cover, it tones. It is applied over a finished coat, whose color it shifts and deepens while the base stays readable. It is exactly this quality that makes it a tool for fine-tuning rather than for a first layer. Anyone who tries to use it in place of a covering paint on bare plastic will be disappointed by the result.
Work in thin layers and let the surface dry between them, because the effect adds up. Mix the bottle before use, wipe the neck after work and tighten the cap. Choose the thinner and the cleaner according to the manufacturer's recommendation for this range. Try the strength of the tone on an offcut of plastic before you go at a model you have under way.
For painters of figures and wargaming models, for modelers of vehicles and for anyone who wants to fine-tune a finished coat into depth or to give it a strong accent. As a universal covering paint in a beginner's kit it is not suitable.
