The Vought F4U Corsair is among the most striking carrier fighters of the Second World War. You will recognize it by the inverted gull wing, which allowed a large propeller to be used while shortening the landing gear legs. Compared with the first series, the F4U-1A version was given a raised pilot's seat and a better glazed canopy, so the view out of the cockpit was noticeably better.
The SPACE line brings color three-dimensional elements for the interior fittings of a model. The elements have no adhesive layer of their own: only the backing paper is moistened, best of all with a damp sponge with a drop of dish soap. You then lift the element off with tweezers, lay it straight onto the part of the kit and fix it with white PVA glue; the manufacturer does not recommend cyanoacrylate glue. Which elements the set contains and where they belong is shown in the manufacturer's instructions.
First level and degrease the area under the element, so that it takes hold over its whole surface. Set the element down by one edge and only then press it, which avoids air bubbles. There is no need to paint the elements, because the color finish and the shading are done at the factory.
The set suits anyone who wants the fittings of a cockpit done quickly and convincingly, without the laborious painting of small details. Even a less experienced modeler will manage it; tweezers, PVA glue and a steady hand are enough.
The model of the aircraft, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
