Eduard Fw 190A-5 light fighter 1:48 is a plastic kit of the German fighter of the Second World War in the ProfiPACK edition with photo-etched parts and masks.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German fighter Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-5 in the light armament version in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is the ProfiPACK edition, which adds color photo-etched parts and masks for the glazing to the plastic, so the model can be richly detailed straight from the box. The package contains decals with several marking options.
The Fw 190 was among the best German fighters of the Second World War. Compared with the earlier forms, the A-5 version had a slightly lengthened nose because of the engine being moved forward. In the so-called light version the fighter carried lightened armament with two cannon in the wing, which improved agility and rate of climb. The type served on every front as a fighter and as a fighter-bomber.
Paint the cockpit with the color photo-etched parts and the wheel wells before closing the fuselage up. Use the enclosed masks for clean glazing. Glue with a thin cement for plastic, treat the model with a primer and paint with an airbrush; apply a gloss coat under the decals and even the surface out with a matte clear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
