This accessory is a precisely turned metal pitot tube intended for models of the BAC Lightning supersonic fighter in 1:32 scale. It is made by MASTER, a brand known for fine turned brass parts. The metal pitot replaces the soft and vulnerable plastic part from the box and gives the model a sharp, durable and realistic detail.
A metal pitot tube raises the fidelity of the nose of a model and takes handling better than the plastic original. The part is fitted with cyanoacrylate into a prepared hole.
Degrease the part before gluing and fit it only at the end of the build so that it does not get bent. Metal holds paint better once a base coat is applied; you can then easily paint in the shades matching the real subject. Work carefully, as the point is fine and sharp.
This is an accessory to a model, not a standalone kit. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
