It is not a stand-alone airplane model but a detail part for the plastic kit of the British Lightning fighter. The cast seat faithfully captures the shape of the shell, the belts and the ejection mechanism, and it replaces the simpler part from the base kit, raising the realism of the cockpit. The Lightning was a British supersonic interceptor of the Cold War. It was exceptional for the layout of two jet engines placed one above the other in the fuselage and for an extraordinary rate of climb, thanks to which it reached great heights quickly. It served above all for the interception of intruders into the airspace.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting block and sand them with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It works well to spray a primer, then the base color of the seat and the belts, and finally to pick the detail out with a wash, a dry brush and color accents on the harness and the switches.
This is an aftermarket resin accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and any other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
