The resin correction part a correct oil cooler for the Bf 109G-6 from the Czech brand Quickboost in 1:32 scale - an accessory, not a model kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory from the Quickboost brand in 1:32 scale offers a precisely shaped oil cooler for a model of the German fighter the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6. It is not a kit of the airplane, but a small correction part that replaces a less faithful part from a plastic kit. The casting is one piece, with sharp definition of the cooling fins, and serves for a more faithful rendering of the lower fuselage under the engine.
On the Bf 109G the oil cooler was housed in a characteristic bath under the forward fuselage. Both its outline and its dimensions differed between the individual versions, and a precisely shaped cooler is exactly one of those details that decide the fidelity of a finished model. The Bf 109G-6 was one of the most widespread versions of this fighter deployed during the Second World War.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove mold release residue. Cut the casting block off with a saw or a cutter, sand the surface and protect your airways when sanding resin. Glue the part with super glue (cyanoacrylate); apply a primer before painting, which improves the adhesion of paint on smooth resin.
It is supplied as a resin accessory for experienced modelers, not as a kit in its own right. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
