A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard focused on the armament of a model of the Boeing EA-18G Growler electronic warfare aircraft in 1:32 scale. The metal parts refine the pylons, the mountings and the small features of the stores. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a plastic kit.
The set adds the fine details of the pylons and the carried equipment that injection-molded plastic cannot capture faithfully enough. It makes a more realistic treatment of the stores and their mountings under the wings and the fuselage of a model possible.
The Boeing EA-18G Growler is an American two-seat carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft, which grows out of the design of the F/A-18F Super Hornet. Its task is to jam enemy radars and communications and to support other aircraft. It serves with the US Navy.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade, form the bends with a bending tool and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or a glue for etching. Degrease the surface before gluing, and once a base coat has been applied paint the parts together with the armament.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
