A resin wheel set in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker CMK, intended for the Heller kit of the E-2 Hawkeye carrier-based early warning aircraft. The wheels are cast with fine detail on the disc and the tire and offer a crisper rendering than the parts from the box. It is not an aircraft model but a detail replacement of the wheels for an existing kit.
The Grumman E-2 Hawkeye is an American carrier-based airborne early warning and control (AEW) aircraft. It is recognizable by the large rotating radar dish, the rotodome, above the fuselage, and it has served as the eyes of the carrier air wing since the 1960s, to this day in upgraded versions.
First wash the mold release agent off the resin parts in lukewarm water with dish soap, cut the casting blocks away carefully and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
This is an accessory to a kit, not a complete model. The Heller base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
