Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese Subaru 360 microcar in the Deluxe trim of 1968, in 1:24 scale. The model belongs to the collectors' range of historical cars from the Japanese company Hasegawa, which concentrates on domestic car production from the 1960s onward. The number of parts, the exact contents of the package and the extent of the decals are stated on the box and in the enclosed instructions.
The Subaru 360 was the first production passenger car from Subaru and one of the key representatives of the Japanese kei class, that is, the smallest tax category of passenger cars. It was built from the end of the 1950s and in Japan it earned a nickname referring to its rounded, beetle-like shape. The engine was mounted at the rear and drove the rear wheels, and the body was a two-door with a small luggage compartment at the front. The Deluxe trim was the better equipped form offered in the later years of production.
The body is small and strongly curved, so it pays to spend time on preparing the surface, sanding the parting lines down and polishing the paint. Paint with a primer, then with the base color in thin coats and finally with a clear coat, which can be polished once it has cured. Leave the chrome accessories and trim until the end and cement them with a glue that does not cloud the surrounding areas. Finish the interior before you join the body to the floor.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
