This set from the manufacturer Eduard, from the Brassin range, is a resin detail accessory, not a standalone model. It replaces the simpler plastic seat from the kit with a faithful copy of the C2 ejection seat in 1:32 scale. It is intended for models of the supersonic Lockheed F-104 Starfighter fighter.
The C2 seat was Lockheed's own design and was used in a number of Starfighter versions. The casting captures the structure of the shell, the harness and the controls far better than injection-molded plastic, so an open cockpit looks convincing even at close range. On the well-glazed Starfighter the seat detail is one of the most conspicuous elements of the whole model.
First wash the resin parts to remove the mold release residue, carefully cut off the casting blocks with a sharp knife or a saw and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend painting with an airbrush; the harness and details can be picked out by hand.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. It requires a matching base kit. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
