The set holds a finely cast resin control stick for a model of the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter in the G and S versions in 1:32 scale. The detail part replaces the simplified stick of the base kit and raises the fidelity of the cockpit. It is not a model of the whole aircraft.
The F-104 Starfighter is an American single-seat supersonic aircraft with a characteristic short straight wing. The G version was a widespread multirole rendition used by a number of countries, and the S version arose as an Italian reworking. The aircraft became renowned for high speed and rate of climb.
Wash the part free of mold release residue, cut it off the casting block carefully and sand the surplus with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The detail of the grip comes into its own once it is painted and picked out lightly.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
