Resin early type wheels with weighted tires for the F-14 Tomcat in 1:32 scale from Armory. A direct replacement for the kit wheels with realistic tire deformation and fine hub detail.

A set of resin wheels from Armory for the F-14 Tomcat fighter in 1:32 scale. It matches the early type of wheel used on the older machines. The tires are cast with weighted deformation - a slight flattening where they touch the ground - so the model stands naturally, like a real aircraft under its own weight. The castings offer finer drawing of the hubs and the details than the split mold of an ordinary kit can manage, and fitting is simple: the wheels are just slipped onto the kit landing gear legs.
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was an American carrier-based fighter with variable wing geometry, a crew of two and rugged landing gear built for hard landings on an aircraft carrier. It served from the 1970s in the roles of fleet air defense and attacks on ground targets. It is the massive main landing gear wheels in particular that are a very visible element on a large model in 1:32 scale.
First wash the parts in warm soapy water to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the marks down. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and use respiratory protection while sanding. We recommend a primer coat before painting.
This is a resin accessory - the aircraft kit itself is not included in the package.
