Eduard 1:32 F-15C placards is a set of color-printed photo-etched placards and labels for the cockpit of the F-15C fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail accessory from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for models of the F-15C fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit, and it is not a structural photo-etched set to be glued into the model in place of plastic parts either: these are placards, that is the small labels, warning plates and legends that are distributed around a real cockpit on the side walls, on the instrument panel and on the consoles. In 1:32 scale the cockpit is big enough for details like these to be genuinely visible once the canopy is open, and it is exactly they that turn an empty tub into a convincing working space for the pilot.
The parts are separated with a scalpel on a hard surface; never tear them out. Most placards are glued on flat, so a drop of cyanoacrylate applied on the tip of a toothpick or a fine piece of wire is enough; use the minimum amount of glue, as any excess dulls the surrounding surface. Finish and paint the whole cockpit first and add the placards only onto a finished surface. Fine-jawed tweezers and good lighting help; when seating them it is practical to keep a damp cloth to hand so that a tiny part does not stay stuck to your finger. Once they are on, the whole interior can be gone over with a flat clear coat, which evens the joints out.
The set holds photo-etched parts only. The aircraft model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
