This resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer Aires replaces the exhaust nozzle on a kit of the F-104G Starfighter aircraft in 1:32 scale. This is not an aircraft model but an accessory for experienced modelers that changes the simplified plastic part for a faithfully cast resin replica with a fine inner structure of the nozzle.
The F-104G Starfighter was the multirole version of the supersonic Starfighter, widely operated by a number of European and other air forces. It was powered by a powerful jet engine with an afterburner, whose nozzle forms a striking element of the tail. A faithful nozzle noticeably raises the realism of a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. Bring out the heat-stained and metallic effects of the nozzle with washes and metallic paints, which you should stir thoroughly and apply at the end.
The set is supplied as a resin accessory for a kit, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
