A set of painting masks, Fw 190A masks, in 1:32 from Eduard. It is a modeling accessory for masking the canopy glazing and the wheels, not the model itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
Precisely cut painting masks from Eduard in 1:32, meant for the Fw 190A type. The masks are in thin kabuki paper with a gentle adhesive, follow the shape of the canopy framing and of the other glazed areas and, on aircraft sets, as a rule the wheel hubs as well. It is neither a kit nor a set of model parts but an accessory bought separately alongside a base model.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190A was the basic line of the famous German fighter of the Second World War with the BMW 801 radial engine. It was marked by a rugged structure, heavy armament and good handling. It was used on every front as a fighter and a fighter-bomber.
Lift the mask carefully off the backing, lay it on a clean area of the glazing and press it down. Fill the straight gaps between the frames with a piece of masking tape or with liquid mask. Then spray the shade of the frame, let it dry and take the masks off while the paint is still fresh, so that the edges stay sharp. The masks speed masking up considerably and give clean, accurate framing lines without laborious measuring of tape.
The masks are a modeling accessory, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
