This resin detail set from Quickboost brings precisely cast replacement air intakes for models of the Gloster Gladiator biplane in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an accessory that replaces the plastic parts from the basic kit with a more faithful casting with open ducts.
Resin intakes have cleanly recessed openings, which on plastic parts are often missing or only suggested. The replacement raises the realism of the nose and engine area of the machine.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and clean the surfaces up with your breathing protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting; the inside of the ducts is usually darkened to give a sense of depth.
