A multimedia short-run kit of the British fighter Hawker Hurricane Mk.I in its tropical configuration, in 1:32 scale from Fly. It combines injection-molded plastic with resin and photo-etched parts, above all for the detailed cockpit. This is a kit for more experienced modelers: the parts have no locating pins, so the build calls for careful alignment.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British single-seat fighter and one of the key types of the Battle of Britain. The tropical configuration, Trop, with a dust filter under the engine, allowed it to operate in desert and Mediterranean conditions. That filter under the engine is the recognition feature of the version.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts and cut off the casting blocks; glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Glue the plastic parts with liquid cement for plastic. Because there are no locating pins, keep checking the build for square as you go. We recommend a primer and spraying with an airbrush, and patina with washes and pigments at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
