It is neither a kit nor a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without tediously cutting tape by hand.
The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka is a German dive bomber of the Second World War, recognizable by its inverted gull wing and its fixed landing gear in aerodynamic fairings. The B-2 version from the start of the war was given a stronger engine and became famous for its service in the Blitzkrieg campaigns. Over the target the machine plunged earthwards along a steep path and released its bomb with high accuracy. The two-seat greenhouse canopy carries the pilot and the rear gunner alike.
Degrease the extensive glazing of the long greenhouse canopy carefully. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them patiently onto the individual panels of the pilot's and the gunner's framing, working systematically. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The masks for the wheels separate the tire from the disc inside the landing gear fairing. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a shallow angle.
