The resin cockpit set Kawasaki Ki 61-I cockpit set in 1:32 scale from Aires. A detail accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set renders the pilot's cabin of the Japanese Kawasaki Ki-61-I fighter aircraft in 1:32 scale in detail. It is not a stand-alone model but an accessory replacing the cockpit from a plastic kit with a more faithful instrument panel, cabin sides, seat and further details.
The Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien was a Japanese army fighter aircraft of the Second World War and the only mass-produced Japanese aircraft with a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine. The Ha-40 powerplant was based on the German Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine built under license.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The cabin is glued in before closing the fuselage, so build and paint it in advance. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
