A resin correction and detail set. It is NOT an aircraft model but a replacement part: a precisely shaped vertical tail (the fin with the rudder) for models of the Soviet MiG-23BN fighter-bomber in 1:32 scale. It corrects a shape that is often inaccurate on plastic kits.
The MiG-23BN was an export success, a ground attack and fighter-bomber derivative of the Flogger family with variable-geometry wings. It served with a number of armies of the Eastern bloc and beyond. The vertical tail is one of the characteristic recognition features of the type, so it is worth having its shape right.
Wash the part to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting block and line the surface up with the fuselage. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); fill the transitions and sand them with protection of the airways. Then a primer and an airbrush.
This is a replacement part, not an aircraft model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
