A detailed resin set of the exhaust nozzle for a model of the Soviet MiG-23 fighter in the ML and MLD versions in 1:32 scale from Reskit. The nozzle is rendered in the parking position, that is fully open, the way it looks on a standing aircraft with the engine shut down. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for experienced modelers that replaces the simplified nozzle from the base kit.
The resin castings capture the petals and the internal structure of the jet engine nozzle faithfully, with detail that cast plastic parts cannot reach. The open parking position matches the real state of a parked machine and markedly raises the realism of the rear end. The set is designed for the plastic MiG-23 kit from Trumpeter; check the compatibility against the packaging.
Wash the parts free of the remains of the mold release agent, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand resin with respiratory protection. The nozzle is best painted separately and finished with heat and metal effects.
This is a resin accessory set, not an aircraft model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
