A resin detail accessory from the Quickboost brand by Aires in 1:32 scale. The set replaces the exhaust stubs on the radial engine with finely rendered resin parts. It is not a model of the aircraft but an aftermarket accessory that raises the fidelity of the engine area.
The Nakajima Ki-44 Shoki was a Japanese single-seat interceptor of the Second World War with a radial engine. It was designed with the stress on rate of climb and speed, for quick strikes against enemy aircraft.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. Drilling out the mouths of the exhausts and shading them will bring the detail out.
