The S.E.5a was a British single-seat fighter biplane from the second half of the First World War. Unlike machines with a rotary engine, it had a liquid-cooled inline engine, which gave it steadier behavior in flight, good speed and a stable platform for shooting. It was therefore regarded as a machine that forgives more mistakes than the more agile but trickier types of its day. After 1918 individual examples appeared in other European air forces as well, the Polish one among them.

On fabric areas do not leave the softener out, otherwise the film will bridge the space between the ribs. Stick the painting masks onto well-cured varnish, press them down from the center toward the edges and apply the paint in several thin layers instead of one heavy one.
