Single riveting rows — single-row 3D riveting decals (1:32, Eduard)

An accessory, not a model. These are the so-called 3D decals from the Eddie the Riveter range by Eduard — a sheet carrying individual rows of small raised rivets. The rivets are formed in the body of the decal, so once transferred to the surface of the model they create a genuinely three-dimensional relief of riveting that neither engraving alone nor a printed decal can imitate. This variant contains single rows and is made precisely for 1:32 scale — the spacing and the size of the rivets match that scale.

Use

• Treat the surface of the model with a primer first — riveting decals settle best on a smooth, sanded base.
• Cut off a strip with a row of rivets, soak it in lukewarm water and slide it into place like an ordinary waterslide decal.
• Guide the row along the engraved lines or a marked axis so that the riveting stays straight.
• Once it has dried you can paint and airbrush over the decal — the rivets stay raised even under paint.
• A decal softener improves the bond; work patiently and join the rows smoothly.

Who the accessory is for

For modelers in the large 1:32 scale who want to restore airframe riveting faithfully, whether during the build or when repairing a surface after sanding and filling. It is used across aircraft types and is not tied to one particular kit. Do not mix up the scales — this set is for 1:32; separate versions exist in 1:48 and 1:72 for smaller models.

This is an accessory for surface work, not a kit. Paints, primer and the model are not included in the package.
