Eduard Spitfire Mk.I/II wheels 1:32 is a resin set of wheels for refining models of the Spitfire Mk.I and Mk.II fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft kit, but a refining accessory.

This Eduard product from the Brassin line is a resin detail set, not a kit in its own right. It contains replacement main landing gear wheels for models of the Supermarine Spitfire fighter in the Mk.I and Mk.II versions in 1:32 scale. The castings capture the tire tread and the rim detail exactly.
The resin wheels replace the less successful plastic parts from the base kit. The tire is usually cast with a realistic tread and often with a flattened contact patch, faithfully imitating the load on a standing aircraft. A mask for the rims, for easy painting, is normally part of the set as well.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the rim and the tire separately; the mask supplied helps to divide them. Bringing out the tread with a dusting pigment gives the wheel realism.
This is a refining accessory for a plastic model, not a kit in its own right. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
