1:32 Tornado ECR is a set of 3D textured instrument panels from Red Fox Studio on decal paper for the tandem cockpit of the model in 1:32 scale. The panels are prepared for the Revell kit.

An extensive set of colored elements with printed relief for both stations of the Tornado. The carrier is decal paper, so the elements are soaked off in water and settled onto a smooth varnished base; they are neither glued nor sanded. With a cockpit holding this many small controls it is the most reliable route to a uniform and legible result.
The Tornado has two stations one behind the other and the difference between them is fundamental. In front is the pilot's panel, where classic round instruments meet screens, at the rear the station of the systems operator with no full flight equipment but with displays and control panels instead. On the ECR version the rear station is adapted to operating specialized electronic warfare equipment, so the panels differ from the ordinary strike version of the same type. A characteristic element of the pilot's left console is the wing sweep lever - that belongs to the Tornado as much as the divided canopy, which when open leaves both stations visible at once. The side consoles are long and full of small boxes, which on a model in a large scale is a lot of area to cover.
Before you start, make a test on an offcut: apply a drop of decal softener and watch how quickly the film softens. A thicker 3D print reacts more slowly than an ordinary decal and different products differ, so that one minute will save you a ruined element. Then work station by station - front panel, rear panel once it has set, consoles last. Keep the soak short and the water lukewarm, and let the film release on the paper. Keep the base slippery and move the elements with a damp brush, not with tweezers. Apply decal softener only to edges and transitions, thinly and from the edge outward; if the film ripples, do not touch it and let it level out. Fix the dried cockpit with a thin coat of semi-matte varnish and then polish the areas of the displays in spots with gloss.
This is a modeling accessory, not a kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package. The set is prepared for the Tornado ECR kit from Revell; check in advance that it matches.
