This product is not a model of the vehicle, but an accessory for imitating the lenses of optical instruments on a model of the Polish KTO Rosomak wheeled carrier in 1:35 scale. The holographic film is placed under the vision blocks and the heads of the gunsights and creates in them the rainbow reflection that real optical glass has. Such an impression cannot be imitated with clear plastic or varnish alone. The film is cut for the parts of the IBG kit.
The KTO Rosomak is an eight-wheeled armored personnel carrier of the Polish army, built under license to the Finnish Patria AMV design. It serves in mechanized battalions, has been through overseas deployment and several purpose-built renditions have come out of it. The most widespread variant carries a two-man turret with a 30 mm cannon. The turret and the front of the hull therefore concentrate most of the optics the film is intended for.
Cut the windows out with a completely new blade so that the edge does not stay frayed, and move them with tweezers; a fingerprint on the face side will not come off again. Go over the surface under the lens with a dark shade beforehand, because the reflection looks deeper on a black base. Seat the film at the very end of the build, after painting and weathering, otherwise you will get dust on it. Avoid spraying varnish over it, as that would dull the gloss.
