It is goods from the figures section in 1:35 scale, that is an accessory for models of military equipment and for dioramas. The 1:35 scale means that one centimeter of a model corresponds to thirty-five centimeters of reality; a figure one meter eighty tall therefore measures around five centimeters.
Figures come into their own in three places: in the hatch or in the cab of a vehicle, beside the machine with the crew at work or at rest, and in a scene where the vehicle is not the main character. In all these cases they give a model a size that the vehicle by itself will never convey, and they tell the viewer where to look. Think the placement through, then, before you glue the figures down for good - figures are best placed so that they look at one another or at one spot.
Before painting, wash the surface in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent, rinse it and let it dry out perfectly. Cut surplus material and traces of manufacture off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder down lightly. Attach the small parts with cyanoacrylate super glue, which works on all the common materials used for figures. Then apply a base coat and only onto that paint the shades of the clothing and the skin. Build the color transitions up in thin coats, because the areas are small in this scale and heavy paint quickly fills the modeling in.
The item is for modelers building in 1:35 scale who want to complete their models with a human presence. The exact composition and the number of pieces are given by the manufacturer on the packaging. Neither paints nor glue are included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
